Born on January 21, 2002, Madelyn Grace Bougard was a beautiful, happy-go-lucky, smart, charming and talented 9 year old girl. She enjoyed dancing, performing, gymnastics, swimming, fashion, and much more. She loved her family, friends and animals of all sort. Maddy created pins and collages to help earn money for her favorite charities. She was passionate about giving and helping other people. Her smile was like sunshine!
On May 6, 2010, she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor (diffuse pontine glioma). For over 18 months, Madelyn and her family worked bravely and tirelessly to be free of the cancer. On November 26, 2011, Madelyn was finally set free. Those who knew her will never forget what a special and remarkable young lady she was.
